Built in 1886, Lucy Maud Montgomery lived here from 1911 to 1926 while her husband was the minister at the Presbyterian Church across the street. She wrote 11 of her 22 novels and raised two sons in this house, which is located in the small hamlet of Leaksdale, just north of Uxbridge, Ontario.
